Daniel Quansah is sitting next to me on Ernest’s porch in Tema, as I write. We are back at home base!

The day began with breakfast and goodbyes. Some of the members of the Kade church came by and presented us with a wood carving each. Ask Rick about his!

On our way out of town, we stopped at the chief’s (my close personal friend) place of business. He is a cocoa farmer and palm oil producer. He gave us a tour of the palm oil production line. Very interesting!

Elmina Castle was a 4 hour drive from Kade. This is a 600 year old slave trading fort which is now a museum. We toured the fort which takes you into the life of an African captured and sold into slavery. Very eye-opening!

We arrived in Tema at 8:30 PM and will now get some sleep.
