Eggs over easy with bread and butter began our day. Up at 6:30 AM! (3 hours of sleep – not bad).
The seminar today lasted until 1:30 PM and contained lessons on “The Kingdom”, and “Mormonism compared to the Truth”.
The Kade Church of Christ was our host and served meat pies and coke for lunch. We were told the Mormons are trying to get a foothold in this region. It was at our hosts request that the seminars address these topics. They were eager to learn and many of their questions were satisfied.
After lunch we relaxed and prepared for Sunday’s preaching. We will all go to different congregations and teach the bible class, AM sermon and PM sermon.
While studying, Sybil came by with her dad, Quansah, wearing a dress my daughter Leslie had sent for her. She is named after Ted’s mom and is very sweet. They ate lunch with us and we had a good visit. Sybil is 8 years old, one year younger than Leslie.
Our campaign is dissolving. Bill left for the south this afternoon and only Ernest and Cobbinah remain of our Ghanaian crew. The campaign is wrapping up. I am a bit sad, but I can already taste that cheeseburger!
